Commodity Pricing

The Commodity Pricing tab displays the details for pricing.
To move between commodity items, click the First, Prev, Next and Last navigation buttons to find the commodity to edit.
Customers can be assigned to pricing groups which will allow them to get a different automatic price than the default price you enter here. Also, the automatic price can be changed at the time of purchase. The default price can also be used as a base price for formula pricing. To set up special pricing, navigate to Purchase Price Lists.
Scale Price - this will be what the base scale price is for customers. Unless special pricing is set for a customer, this is the price they will receive. After setting the scale price, select a unit of measurement for the commodity. The choices seen here can be defined by you. This can be done in Unit of Measure Maintenance.
Max Price (optional) - This is the maximum negotiated scale price. Even if there is special pricing set up for a customer, the price cannot under any circumstances exceed this max price, if set.
Payment Rule - Select the payment rule if one applies to this commodity. For example, some commodities may be required to be paid by check only.
Loyalty Rewards Points - If your yard uses the Loyalty Program, set the number of points given to the customer for this commodity.
Automatic Tier Prices - Set up tier pricing for the commodity.
Extra Disclaimer Text - Choose the text to be displayed when this commodity is purchased.
